Velda A. Eugenias, CFP®
Founder and CEO
Velda has been in the
financial services field her entire career with the last 15 years
concentrated in financial planning and investments. Before starting the
firm, Velda was co-owner in a financial planning firm, Cedarholm & Eugenias,
LLC, for five years. Before that she was employed nine years by a national
bank as an investment officer. She earned her CFP designation in 2000 and
previously held the NASD series 6, 63 and 7 along with having an insurance
license for many years. She is a member of the National Association of
Personal Financial Advisors (NAPFA) and has recently completed a three year
term of service on the Regional and National Boards. In addition to her membership with NAPFA, Velda belongs to Rotary International, The Gadsden Chamber of Commerce, First Friday Forum,
and Women Executive Networking. She has been a member of the Financial Planning Association (FPA) since 1999 and was Membership chair while serving on the Board of Directors. Velda is a graduate of the College of Financial Planning in Denver,
Colorado and holds a BS in Human and Environmental Sciences from the University of Alabama. She is required to get 60 hours of continuing education every two years. Velda has served for several years as a volunteer for Kiplinger Magazine on their ‘Jump Start
Your Retirement’ series. She has been quoted in the Dow Jones Newswires and has been a frequent guest lecturer at the University of Alabama on financial planning topics. She is a frequent speaker for many civic clubs and has conducted many workshops over her career on the subject of financial planning. Velda believes that ‘the devil is in the detail’ and in the financial services industry you can not be ‘too careful’. She is dedicated to education and believes that staying abreast of new laws, regulations and rules is the backbone of what enables an advisor to meet a client’s needs.
Brandon
White, M.E., CFP®
Wealth Manager
Brandon brings 11 years of experience in investments and
financial planning to his position with Eugenias Advisory Group. His
experience comes from working with a regional bank, a national brokerage firm,
and most recently a privately owned wealth management firm. As a CERTIFIED
FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner, Brandon is responsible for creating,
analyzing and implementing strategies to help clients achieve their financial
planning goals through asset preservation, income protection and estate
planning. Brandon is part of the investment committee and is one of the
financial planners working directly with clients.
In addition to the
CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) designation, Brandon holds a degree in
finance from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He is also a Certified
Small Business Consultant and holds a Masters Degree in Entrepreneurship,
which enables him to bring specialized planning to small businesses and
small business owners.
Brandon is a committee member for the Alabama State Committee
for National Entrepreneurship Week. He is also a member of the United States
Association of Small Business and Entrepreneurship (USASBE), Alabama Jump
$tart Coalition, Financial Planning Association and the Birmingham Venture
Club.
Brandon and his wife Stacey have two children and reside in
Oxford, Alabama.

Bethany A. Davis, M.S.
Office Manager / Paraplanner
Bethany brings a recently completed Master’s Degree in Human
Environmental Studies with a concentration in Family Financial Planning and
Counseling to Eugenias Advisory Group, LLC. Bethany was previously employed by
a bank in Birmingham before joining our firm. In her banking tenure, she
earned valuable experience in client service, compliance, and commercial
lending. Bethany is dedicated to providing the best service possible to
clients while paying close attention to detail.
Bethany has lived in
Leeds for most of her life. She received both her undergraduate and graduate
degrees from The University of Alabama. Her hobbies and passions include
traveling, sewing, and spending time with her husband and extended family.
Bethany is very involved in her church, where she has taught courses on
finances.
